Creme-Egg-Easter-Chicks

Last week we discussed how you could be creative for the various occasions over the year, such as Valentines Day, Easter, Halloween and Christmas. With Easter 2014 soon approaching, we talked about the different ways that you could be creative for Easter time. At Easter, you traditionally see lots of bunny rabbits and Easter chicks for sale in different forms, such as soft toys or chocolate, as well as chocolate Easter eggs for sale. However if you want to be that bit more personal with the things that you give for Easter, you can make cards, gifts, bake cakes and more. We also talked about how a number of the Smart Restaurants team had been creative for Easter. One team member had made a number of Easter cross stitch cards, whilst the other had been busy knitting over the past couple of months to make lots of lovely Easter chicks, made to hold a Cadbury’s Creme Egg perfectly.

We included a number of pictures of these lovely knitted Easter chicks, as you can see above, and asked if you could spot the odd one out. The odd one out was in fact this bright and colourful chick, made using a multicoloured wool, instead of yellow.  Make the most out of it being Easter and see how creative you can be. Make something unusual such as this multicoloured chick, it is still in keeping with it being Easter, but it is completely unique and different!
