Morning

English-Breakfast

Full English Breakfast

In the morning make your father his favourite breakfast, most probably a full English breakfast. Make sure that you cook everything that he likes from the crispy bacon to the runny eggs and the perfect toast. Don’t forget to also put the kettle on and make him a nice cup of tea to go with his breakfast. Once he has had his breakfast, let him open his presents and then get ready for the day.

Lunch

BBQ

If the weather is nice then why not get out and fire up the BBQ and cook your father his favourite barbecued food. This is a great way for the family to spend some time together, enjoying the summer weather and eat some summer food. If the weather is going to be hot, then make sure that you stock up on all the food that you need to avoid missing out on any BBQ food from your local supermarket.

Take Your Father to the Pub

If you don’t fancy the BBQ idea, then for lunch you could always take your father to the pub and if it’s nice and sunny weather, sit in the beer garden all afternoon. Your father can order his favourite pub meal and enjoy some refreshing drinks whilst relaxing in the sunshine.

Dinner

Go to a Restaurant

Many restaurants have deals on for special occasions such as Father’s Day, for example father’s eating for free, or a special Father’s Day set menu. This is a great opportunity to take your father out and treat him to a special meal. Make sure that you book in advance, to avoid disappointment of being turned away. Usually lunchtime is a quieter time to go out for a meal as more people will prefer to go out at dinner time for a meal. The great thing about going out for a meal at lunchtime is that you still have the rest of the afternoon and the evening to do something else for Father’s Day.

Order a Takeaway

Order your father his favourite takeaway as a surprise for Father’s Day. Have it ordered to the house so that he will be even more surprised when it arrives. If your local takeaway has the Smart Restaurants app, then you can use this so that you can discreetly order the takeaway using your smart phone. There are many different takeaways to choose from, so you have plenty of choice. A pizza or a Chinese? It is completely up to you.

Have an enjoyable Father’s Day and make sure that you make your father feel extra special and spoil him with lots of treats and gestures.
