Along with many other occasions throughout the year such as Christmas and Halloween, Easter brings out the creativity in people. Whether it be putting on an Easter themed party, cooking food, baking Easter themed cakes, making cards or making presents, being creative is an interest many people have. For those who may feel artistic and creative in some way, enjoy there being an occasion as it gives them an excuse to do something creative in their spare time and the outcomes are very rewarding.

Easter 2014

Over the years, Easter has become a time of giving to friends and family. Easter cards are given both ones bought in a shop, as well as handmade ones. Easter themed presents are given such as Easter chicks and bunny rabbits. Chocolate eggs are also traditionally given, in many different shapes, forms and sizes. Easter time is great for children as there can be activities such as Easter parties, Easter egg treasure hunts and activities at country parks such as raffles and duck races.

#Easter

On social networking sites, such as Facebook and Twitter, many people have shown how creative they can be and can show what they have produced for Easter. Cadbury’s had the Creme Egg Bake, where many people made things out of Cadbury’s Creme Eggs, such as cakes, cupcakes and even pancakes. As well as social networking sites being great for people to show their creativity, social networking sites are also great for different companies to advertise their Easter products such as Easter eggs and Easter gifts. People can comment on what they think of the products and can share them with friends and followers.

Easter at Smart Restaurants

At Smart Restaurants, we like to be creative whenever there is an occasion throughout the year, therefore a number of team members have been very creative for Easter 2014. One has been making some lovely little Easter cross stitches for Easter cards, whilst another has been very busy over the past couple of months making lots of lovely little chicks which hold a Cadbury’s Creme Egg perfectly. The chicks are all individually handmade by being hand-knitted and then sewn together. They also have different colour bows to make each one a unique little Easter Chick. Take a look at the pictures and see what you think of each knitted handmade chick, made especially to keep your Cadbury’s Creme Egg safe.
